Ingredients
½ honeydew melon (seeds removed, cut into pieces)
1 ½ – 2 teaspoons of freshly grated ginger (about a 1 ½ – 2-inch piece of ginger root)
2–3 tablespoons of agave syrup (adjust to taste)
2 fresh mint leaves
5 scoops of ice
2 ½ cups of water
Substitutes for Agave:
Stevia (a few drops or a pinch)
Monk fruit sweetener (¼ teaspoon)
Date syrup (1:1 substitute for agave)
Instructions
In a blender, add the honeydew melon pieces (make sure to remove the seeds).
Add the mint leaves and grated ginger.
Add the ice and water.
Blend until smooth.
Add agave or your chosen natural sweetener to taste, then blend again for a few seconds.
Add additional ice to a glass if desired, and pour the juice over. Serve immediately and enjoy this healthy, sugar-free drink!
