During our recent trip to Chile, we made a stop on our way to Maitencillo and discovered an incredible gem for traditional Chilean cuisine—El Caballito de Palo, located in Puchuncaví. This cozy, rustic restaurant embodies the flavors and warmth of Chilean home cooking, making it a must-visit for anyone in the area.

What We Ordered 🍽️

We couldn’t resist trying some of Chile’s most classic dishes, and every bite was a treat:

✅ Pastel de Choclo – A Chilean classic! A savory-sweet corn pie filled with beef, chicken, olives, and hard-boiled eggs, all baked to perfection.
✅ Leche Asada & Helado – For dessert, we enjoyed leche asada, a caramelized milk custard, along with a scoop of homemade ice cream, the perfect way to end our meal.
